Waterways in our branch include the Lancaster Canal, Leeds & Liverpool Canal, River Lune, River Ribble, Ribble Link, Ulverston Canal and the Carlisle Navigation Canal (disused). Navigable Lakes include Bassenthwaite Lake, Coniston Water, Derwent Water, Ullswater and Windermere.
The Branch also covers Scotland’s waterways including the lowland canals, which comprise the Forth & Clyde and Union canals. As well as those further north – the Crinan and Caledonian. Plus the derelict Monkland Canal.
Together we can protect and restore the waterways; Britain's 7,000 miles of canals and navigable rivers need your help.
