Branch Boundaries
We campaign for the waterways in the IWA Shrewsbury District & North Wales Branch area, which include:
- the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal from outside Wolverhampton (Bridge 3A, Pendeford) to Barbridge Junction in Cheshire,
- the Shropshire Union Middlewich Branch,
- the Llangollen Canal,
- the Montgomery Canal.
In all we have around 120 miles of canals and 70 locks in use, as well as active restoration projects on the Montgomery and Shrewsbury & Newport canals and at Whitchurch, Shropshire.
