Branch Boundaries

We campaign for the waterways in the IWA Shrewsbury District & North Wales Branch area, which include:

the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal from outside Wolverhampton (Bridge 3A, Pendeford) to Barbridge Junction in Cheshire,
the Shropshire Union Middlewich Branch,
the Llangollen Canal,
the Montgomery Canal.

In all we have around 120 miles of canals and 70 locks in use, as well as active restoration projects on the Montgomery and Shrewsbury & Newport canals and at Whitchurch, Shropshire.
