IWA West London Branch covers 36 miles of canal in seven local authority areas of West London. The waterways in the Branch area are the main line of the Grand Union Canal between Brentford and Harefield, the Paddington Arm and the Slough Canal.

Branch Boundaries

IWA West London Branch campaigns for waterways within its area. The boundaries of the branch are:

  • Grand Union Canal main line from the Thames at Brentford to Stocker’s Lock (Lock 82) to the south of Rickmansworth
  • Grand Union Paddington Arm from Bulls Bridge to Ha’penny Bridge, Little Venice
  • Grand Union Slough Canal from Cowley to Slough Basin
