About the branch
We are IWA Chester & Merseyside Branch and we cover an area from the Wirral, across to Middlewich, up to the Bridgewater Canal in the north and much of Merseyside including the Leeds & Liverpool, south of Lydiate and the Liverpool Link.
We actively support waterways heritage projects and our festivals are designed to raise awareness about the waterways in a particular area. We also raise funds and show civic leaders how a vibrant waterway can boost the local economy.
