Our work parties are usually held one weekday and one Sunday a month, along the Arm. Some of the most common tasks that we undertake include vegetation clearance, weeding, litter picking and painting of locks. There’s more but we can’t list them all here! It’s a good day that will give a sense of achievement for you and the canal environment, amongst a group of like minded people.
So, if you’d like to join us please contact Paul Lynam, and he’ll give you details of start points and parking. Please bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing. Any tools required are provided. Start points vary depending on work the to be carried out. Full PPE & life jackets will be provided if the nature of the work requires it.
