Ian Wilson will give a talk on : The Trent and Mersey Canal.

This will describe an illustrated voyage from the Preston Brook Tunnel to the Harecastle Tunnel.   Outlining the canal history, major highlights and its connections to other waterways (Anderton Boat Lift, River Weaver, the Shropshire Union Middlewich Branch and  the Macclesfield Canal).

This event is open to the general public.

It is free of any charges for attending, and will include our fun raffle and sales table.

Drinks are available from the hotel bar just along the corridor.
