This wharf has in the past had some really nice floating pontoons installed. This means you can moor your boat up in safety. However, at the moment, there are no services, such as water, Elsan or rubbish. IWA Leicestershire Branch has been campaigning for this site to have a full service facility. After a long negotiation with Canal & River Trust and Leicester City planning department, work is now due to start in February 2024. IWA Leicestershire Branch will keep monitoring the situation and advise when the facilities are open.
