Guided Walk - Preston - Old Tram Road route and Lancaster Canal

Length of walk 2.5 miles, 2 hours approx. Led by Nigel Hardacre.

This is a flat route and easy going, but good walking shoes are still recommended.  There is the old tram road route, the site of the original Preston Basin, hidden bridges and other local history from the 19th and 20th Centuries.

Meet in the centre of Winckley Square,  10.00 a.m. start.

On street parking in and around Winckley Square, PR1 2JT (5 mins walk from Preston Railway Station), or nearby Fishergate Centre car park (chargeable).

This walk is organised in conjunction with Lancaster Canal Trust and Friends of Tram Bridge.
