David Faulkner our branch chair will be giving the talk.

The aqueduct was damaged by storms and severe flooding in late 2015 and is now fully reopened.

Originally built c1815-1816 when the Lancaster Canal was extended northwards to Kendal.

7:30pm

All our live meetings start at 7.30 pm but we will be there from 7.00 pm for setting up and chatting.

We usually finish between 9.30 pm and 10.00 pm.

We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits.

The Ibis Hotel is just off the M55 motorway junction 1  (A6/B6241) at Preston.  It has a meeting room which we have hired.  The address is 398 Garstang Road, Preston PR3 5JE.

There is ample car parking available at the hotel.

Members should enter the building via the main entrance – the room we will use is ‘The Broughton Suite’.
