The  IWA Northwest Regional Social Event this year will be a short cruise on the Daniel Adamson Steam Ship which is located at Sutton Wharf, (next to Sutton Weaver Swingbridge), on the River Weaver just outside Frodsham, Cheshire. 

The itinerary will include early access to “The Danny at 12 noon where we will be accommodated in the downstairs art deco lounge which will be able to host our presentations of awards and include a light lunch. During this time, you will also be able to explore the Danny with knowledgeable Danny volunteers at hand to answer any questions you may have.

IWA North West Region – Short Cruise on “The Danny”

The  IWA Northwest Regional Social Event this year will be a short cruise on the Daniel Adamson Steam Ship which is located at Sutton Wharf, (next to Sutton Weaver Swingbridge), on the River Weaver just outside Frodsham, Cheshire.

The Cruise

The cruise, under steam power, will depart from the berth at Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge at 1400 hrs and steam two miles towards Marsh Lock where she will turn before returning to Sutton Weaver Swing Bridge.   The cruise will last approximately one hour with a wide expanse of views across the Weaver Valley, Manchester Ship Canal & the River Mersey.
