Saturday: 10:00 – 18:00
Sunday: 10:00 – 18:00 with the parade of illuminated boats at 21:00
Monday: 10:00 – 17:00

Important information concerning road closure

Shobnall Road is closed by roadworks in the vicinity of the A38 bridge. Subject to the following, there is no hindrance to festival traffic.
There are signs at the end of Shobnall Road barring entry except for access to frontages. Festival traffic may continue past these signs.
Travelling to the festival site from the direction of the town centre is not obstructed.
Approaching the festival using the B5017 through Needham is not possible without a considerable diversion.
Approaching the festival using A38, A444 or A511 should be straight forward.
If using Sat Nav is used for guidance, it is likely to report the road closure – you can ignore the warning.
The entrance to the festival site is opposite the Marstons Brewery entrance.
Follow the signage to the car park, festival site and camp site.

Before you set off, check the latest travel information

The latest restrictions on the Trent & Mersey Canal are available from Canal & River Trust’s website – please be aware that the canal is totally closed through Stoke-on-Trent to Stone owing to lack of water from reservoirs feeding the Caldon and Macclesfield canals.

Volunteer at IWA Festival of Water

Festival volunteers required

Every year during the Festival of Water we need volunteers for directing car park traffic, litter picking, clearing and cleaning tables, distributing programmes, donation buckets, helping with entertainments and PA, supervising WOW children’s activities, assisting with site information points and many other activities. Before and after the event we need volunteers to help with erecting marquees and other site setup and take down jobs
