Find out about plans for the Bradley Canal restoration in this online talk by IWA’s Dave Pearson, hosted by IWA Chiltern Branch.

The Bradley Arm Canal was an urban Canal in the heart of the Black Country. Restoration of this Canal would recreate a 1.5 mile link on the BCN between the Walsall Canal and the New Main Line.

A feasibility study to consider the restoration was launched in 2015. This led to the formation of the Bradley Canal Restoration Society.

It’s easy to join by tablet, phone or computer. Register your place to receive joining details.

Hundreds of miles of waterways – along with their unique heritage and habitats – are currently starved of funding and rely on constant lobbying by us to safeguard their future.

Sustainable Boating

Waterways Heritage at Risk

Britain’s canals and rivers are a unique, living heritage. But that heritage is at risk – from urban development, lack of protection, loss of skills and knowledge and climate change.

You can help Save Waterways Heritage.

Waterway restoration

Restoring the UK’s blue infrastructure – our inherited network of navigable canals and rivers – is good for people and places.
