Join us for a volunteer work party on the Ashton Canal.

The work will involve cutting back Ivy and ground preparation for planting a wildflower garden between locks 6 & 7 on the Ashton Canal.

We will be working with CRT volunteers under the leadership of Sara Ponting, their Community Engagement Coordinator as part of Green Recovery Funding, Manchester Area.

Gloves and tools will be provided. Please bring your own footwear suitable for gardening along with lunch and drink.

Access by vehicles heading in a South Westerly direction from Alan Turring Way.

Alternatively, walk along the towpath from the City centre and Ashton directions.
