From Sussex to Newhaven
The River Ouse flows through the heart of Sussex and out to the English Channel at Newhaven.
Sussex Ouse Restoration Trust aims to preserve the historical structures along the river and hopes to restore the river to navigation in suitable places. Sutton Hall Lock at Isfield has been largely restored, but has no gates.
