Donating to IWA is easier than ever with the launch of our new Text to Give service!

Simply text IWA to 70085 to donate £5.

Making a donation will help to support the work we do to protect and restore the waterways.

If you’d like to donate but don’t wish to hear news from us, text IWANOINFO instead.

If you’d like to donate an amount other than £5, between £1 – £20, you can do so by including a number after IWA in your message e.g. text IWA10 to donate £10.

Texts will cost the donation amount plus one standard network rate message.

If you would prefer to donate using a different method, please explore our other donation options or consider becoming a member.

How it Works

Scan the QR code with your mobile phone or text the relevant code (such as IWA or IWA10 depending on the amount you would like to donate) to 70085

After sending the text message, the amount you have chosen to donate will be added to your next phone bill

After making a donation, you will receive a text message asking if you would like to claim Gift Aid

If you respond to the message with ‘yes’, it will open up a form to enable you to submit your name and address to claim Gift Aid on your donation

Once your response has been sent, you will receive another text message to ask if you would like to sign up to make it a recurring monthly donation
