Join us for an evening with Gerald Heward, from water transport company Wood, Hall and Heward.
Wood, Hall and Heward was established in 1997 to specialize in water transport in and around the canals and rivers of London and the south east. Its remit places it in tune with modern thinking to reduce the usage of roads for the transport of heavy materials with the consequent, reduction in the pollution that road transport creates. Since inception, the Company has assembled an impressive inventory of over 40 craft for use on the canals and rivers. This collection includes tugs, motor barges,
dumb barges, hopper barges, crane and plant barges, pontoons, small workboats and dinghies.
Gerald is one of the three founding directors of Wood, Hall and Heward and now acts as a consultant to the Company. As such, he is the ideal speaker to describe the assets with which the Company is equipped and the tasks that the Company undertakes.
