IWA Lee & Stort Branch

IWA Lee & Stort Branch covers parts of Hertfordshire, Essex and Middlesex.

Its focus is on the Lee and Stort Navigations outside the M25.  The branch holds an annual boat gathering over the first weekend in July at Ware in conjunction with the Town Council’s annual Ware Festival, but supports other events in the area including the Bishop’s Stortford Council’s Annual Carnival Parade and Fun Day in June and its Waterside Stortford initiative throughout the year.  It also works closely with adjacent branches and with local boat clubs to provide opportunities for social gatherings.
