It’s IWA’s legal responsibility to keep its data secure.
If you do have an @waterways.org.uk or @wrg.org.uk email account, please use this whenever possible for your IWA business. This reduces the risk of IWA losing personal or confidential data and ensures a clear separation of your personal and volunteer activities. Don’t forget to include a signature block with your contact details, the IWA registered address, the IWA web address and the IWA charity number (212342). There are many circumstances when it is a legal requirement to disclose this information on any written communication, so it is best to do it always as a matter of habit.

Don’t use an e-mail account provided by your employer or other organisation for any IWA business. It could open IWA to legal action by that employer or organisation!
