Time

7:30pm

All our live meetings start at 7.30pm but we will be there from 7.00pm for setting up and chatting.

We usually finish between 9.30pm and 10pm.

We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits.

Location

Primrose Gardens, Fleet Street, Chorley, PR7 2EE.

Primrose Gardens is an Extra Care facility in Chorley.  It has a meeting room which we have hired.  The address is Primrose Gardens, Fleet Street, Chorley, PR7 2EE.

There is no car parking available to us, as that is reserved for residents, although we can drop off and pick up.  However, there is car parking at Fleet St car park which is a directly across the road from the Primrose Gardens residential/community building.

Members should enter the building via the main entrance and are welcome to wait in the lobby if they are a little early.

Waterway underfunding

Hundreds of miles of waterways – along with their unique heritage and habitats – are currently starved of funding and rely on constant lobbying by us to safeguard their future.

Sustainable Boating

We want boating on canals and rivers to be more sustainable and – even though the current overall contribution to UK carbon emissions is very small – we want to help reduce emissions on the waterways.

Waterways Heritage at Risk

Britain’s canals and rivers are a unique, living heritage. But that heritage is at risk – from urban development, lack of protection, loss of skills and knowledge and climate change.

You can help Save Waterways Heritage.

Waterway restoration

Restoring the UK’s blue infrastructure – our inherited network of navigable canals and rivers – is good for people and places.
