WRG BITM normally has a working party once a month.
This month’s work party will be on the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation in Essex, with accommodation in a community hall at Heybridge Basin.
The hall should be available from 4:00pm on Friday evening, and we’ll meet for a meal at a local pub, probably The Jolly Sailor (no food after 8pm). Please book beforehand, so that we know how many to book the tables for (and early or late). I believe there is a chippy in Maldon if you’d prefer to eat a take-away at the hall.
Please remember to bring a sandwich box so you can make your lunch before leaving the hall. Cost for the weekend is £15.
Essex Waterways has toilets and showers at Heybridge Basin. These just need a code number.
