Essex Waterways are looking for additional crew to join their volunteer-run trip boats on the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation at both Paper Mill Lock (Little Baddow) and Heybridge Basin

  • Experience not required, lock training and boat training given
  • We ask for Crew members to try to commit to one day a week minimum, but this is not a rigid requirement.

Boating on the Navigation is a delightful experience, and our friendly teams have a great time making sure that all our passengers have a safe and enjoyable trip.  There is plenty of demand for the boat trips, so we would like to run the boats whenever we can.  Please join us.
