IWA North Staffordshire & South Cheshire Branch is looking for people to get involved in helping to run the work parties in the branch area. We currently have monthly work parties in 3 locations across the branch, 2 of which are in need of additional people to get involved in helping to organise them – on the Uttoxeter Canal and at Burslem Port. Each summer we like to hold a series of Himalayan Balsam work parties on the Caldon Canal but are currently without a work party organiser for those. If you would like to get involved in helping to run any of these work parties why not come along to one of the existing work parties to find out what is involved?
This does not need to be a committee role (although attendance at committee meetings is always welcome). The committee meets monthly, currently at a venue on the outskirts of Stoke on Trent. Meetings currently take place on the second Tuesday of each month, starting at 7.30pm.
