Clive Porter, a Licensing Ranger working for the Canal & River Trust, died while on duty, working on the Grand Union Canal towpath in Aylesbury.  

Our thoughts are with Clive’s family, friends and colleagues at the Canal & River Trust. We send our condolences to all those who knew him and worked alongside him, and have been in touch with the Trust to offer IWA’s support in any way we can.

The circumstances which led to Clive’s death are under police investigation and the Trust’s statement includes a request to support the police appeal for information.
